Wedding notes from the Serenissima

Is there a more romantic place to get married in Europe than Venice? "La Serenissima" feels like a movie set, and hosting a wedding in Venice is a unique experience. I met Athina and Spyros a few months ago at a wedding in Naxos, and they were very enthusiastic about how I work. And I was equally excited when they told me to be their wedding photographer in Venice!

The guys always wanted to do something special for their big day. We flew to Venice a day before the ceremony, and I wanted to create a perfect wedding album. The strolls around the picturesque streets of Venice, the gondola ride, and the espressos in local cafes made a stunning photo and video report!

As for the wedding, it was a purely cinematic experience. The couple arrived with a small vessel to the only orthodox church in Venice, Saint George. It was a touching wedding, and Venice's atmosphere contributed to the mood. Later, the wedding party at Baglioni Hotel Luna turned into a romantic fest full of positive energy!

The highlight was the next-day photo session at Piazza San Marco. It took place at 7:30 am because after 8 o'clock it's impossible to shoot photos due to the crowds! The beautiful couple visited the man who created masks for Eyes Wide Shut, and as you can see, we had so much fun with them! Venice, what a place you are for wedding or honeymoon photography!
