The scorching June sun greeted me when I stepped foot in Folegandros. I was sure that the wedding of Kristina and Ben, a beautiful couple from England, would be one of the month's highlights. After all these years of working as a wedding photographer, I know that perfect coverage is about blending unique emotions into a breathtaking landscape. And a Greek island guarantees precisely that: an alternative wedding in a traditional setting.

Kristina got ready at the elegant Anemomilos Hotel and looked stunning in her white dress. On the other hand, Ben was the most handsome man in town in his olive-green suit. The occasional selfies and the sips of cold beer served their purpose: they made the hot summer day bearable and lifted everyone's spirits!

Late afternoon, Kristina and Ben reached the iconic church on the rock's top. Panagia Folegandros provided a wonderful setting for a highly symbolic and easygoing ceremony in the church's front yard. International guests joined the wedding, smiling widely and sharing emotional speeches. Priceless moments!

And then, it was party time! The couple's wedding became an event for the entire island. The wedding party took place at Folegandros' main square, and it was open to everyone on the island. String lights decorated the whitewashed square, the alcohol kept flowing, and the sunset painted the sky and the guests' memories. Moments of pure magic raised the temperature of an already warm and glorious summer night!.
