How does it feel when a wedding photographer shoots the wedding of a fellow wedding photographer? This question has been running through my mind while capturing the big day of Angela and Giorgio in Corfu. The beautiful couple resides in Belgium, and Giorgio is an excellent wedding photographer. As you can imagine, it was a great honor to shoot their wedding album on the island of Phaecians!

Corfu, or Kerkyra, is among the best places to get married in Greece. Angela and Giorgio chose one of the most cinematic areas on the island for the marriage: the Panagia Vlacherna Monastery. Located on a tiny islet, Panagia Vlacherna is a stunning wedding location in Corfu. Apart from the serene setting, the airplanes fly above your head due to the airport's proximity.

The couple's preparation took place in the Old Town of Corfu. Of course, local traditions were kept: bride and groom prepared themselves separately, but friends surrounded them. Wedding planner Aris from Belli Momenti added brilliant touches to the wedding. Aris knows the island's secrets and creates fantastic atmospheres for couples. For example, the bride reached the islet on a vessel, which was a definite highlight!

After the wedding, we walked down the iconic Liston square. We arrived shortly before the golden hour and shot photos in the busiest spot of Corfu. Finally, the couple and its guests ended up at Nagual, a seaside bar, to celebrate. And what a wedding party that was!
